The troop had its May camp in Fordell Firs this year. We were able to complete a lot of the outdoor challenge including making camp gadgets, tent pitching and cooking a meal on an open fire.
Cubs weekend at Dalguise
Cubs had a great weekend at Dalguise, May 2017. 
New bothy at Auchengillan
183rd Scouts tested out the new bothy at Auchengillan this weekend. These bothies will be a great resource for patrol camps, expedition challanges and other small group activities.
Scouts regain district camping trophy
Once again, the 183rd Scouts hold the Camping Competition trophy for the Great Western district. Well done to everyone who put themselves forward, the next challenge is the zonal competition!

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers all joined together for a good cause for Comic Relief Night 2017.

Cubs (and a few Scouts) once again served the local community at Christmas and raised money for charity by distributing cards in the local area.
