New Scouts joined the troop in October, many of whom have moved up from 183rd Glasgow’s two Cub packs.

Six older Scouts also moved up to the Explorer Section, with two getting their Chief Scouts Gold Award on their final night (see Chief Scouts Gallery page). We wish them all the best in their next steps in Scouting.

The scouts spent their final night before summer at Mugdock Park for activities and a barbecue.

The scouts spent two nights at Lapwing Lodge. They took part lots of activities including kayaking, climbing and archery.

Another Chief Scout Gold Award was presented to a 183rd Scout by Alastair Jardine, Assistant District Commissioner. Well done and best wishes!

A big WELL DONE to the 2018 183rd camping team – who won this years district camping competition. They now go through to the zonal qualifying competition in June representing Great Western District.
