The scouts spent two nights at Lapwing Lodge. They took part lots of activities including kayaking, climbing and archery.

Scout and Cubs move up

The scout troop has welcomed 8 new members, moving up from the existing club packs. Also five Chief Scouts Gold awards have been to Scout on completing their 15 challenge badges, may of whom are now moving up to the Explorer Unit.

5-a-side champions

183 are district 5-a-side champions again, beating the 20th in the final after a tough contest. Well done to all involved.

Awards

Another Chief Scout Gold Award was presented to a 183rd Scout by Alastair Jardine, Assistant District Commissioner. Well done and best wishes!

New Scouts and Chief Scout Gold Awards

October was a special month for many members in the Group. Older Scouts moved up to; Explorers, Older Cubs were invested as Scouts; four Chief Scout Gold Awards were presented by Alastair Jardine, Assistant District Commissioner. Well done and best wishes to all!

2018 Treasure Hunters

A Team from Monday Cubs took part in Great Western District’s Annual CubTreasure Hunt, finding answers to almost one hundred clues within Kelvingrove Museum and in Kelvingrove Park. In the rain. They didn’t win the competition but really enjoyed the Challenge of it all!
