Scouts had a great time in the snow during their meeting, making snowmen, a snow-pig (and a few snowballs). This was followed up with a hot drink and some indoor activities to dry off.
A big thanks to everyone who helped out with the Cubs Post this year, which raised over £800 for Save the Children.

Another great achievement for the troop, coming 3rd in the National Finals of the Camping Competition. Well done to all involved, with a huge amount of effort given in difficult conditions.
The team also had a celebratory meal together once the dust had settled!
Summer camp at the Auchengillan jamboree was enjoyed by all the scouts and explorers who attended with some describing it as the best camp ever. It was wet, it was sunny, it was misty so a typical Scottish summer. AJ17 had a very international make-up, with scouting friends from Weurt, near Nijmegen, Netherlands, sharing our camp. Amongst other things the scouts enjoyed an outdoor pool party, a foam party and a paint party. Photos are on our flickr group, with more to follow.
Well done to our camping competition team who won the Auchengillan South and West Zonal camping competition and have automatically qualified for the national finals in September.
